About Verla
Standing in a quiet studio, I remember the first time the resonance of a clean tone finally clicked in my throat. Years of performing on stage and in the studio led me to pursue an Artist Diploma in Vocal Studies from the Eastman School of Music. Now I teach 5 years of vocal craft full time.
My studio focus is on breathing control, belting technique, tone and resonance, and microphone technique. I also address diction and articulation alongside stage fear management and pitch control. Working through warm-up exercises and vibrato control ensures that both head and chest voice are balanced. I look forward to helping you grow as a mentor who guides you from scratch to stage.

Singing should feel like speaking, even when you are hitting the highest notes in the room. Most people assume that power comes from force, yet my work reveals it is actually about releasing physical tension.
With 5 years of experience, I keep sessions practical and musical so progress is something you can hear. We build a personalized song list around each student range to ensure every note fits perfectly.
The 10 minute warm up phase is essential to preparing your instrument for the rigors of performance. You will find that these sessions prioritize real acoustic results over theoretical study. By the end of our time, you will have a clear grasp of your unique sound. The studio environment is where we turn raw ambition into polished, stage ready work.
