Perrine is a wonderfull and talented person and teacher who cares a lot about her students and is totally fond of what she is doing.

Perrine is an awesome teacher, she helped me to get more confident and inspired me to keep learning and practicing. Highly recommended! 

I have taken private voice lessons with Perrine for two years and I was extremely satisfied.

Perrine is a very dedicated, passionate and organized teacher, who takes personal satisfaction at seeing the student's skills developing. Normally, she devotes the first half of a lesson to bodywork, breathing, techinical exercises and warming-up of the voice. In the second half, we would work on a piece. Perrine allowed me to pick by myself the pieces I wanted to learn, which of course made the lessons more exciting for me.

She is very observant and insightful, thanks to which she excels at recognizing bad habits of the student that may hinder his progress. To cite one example, Perrine pointed out how I have issues with stiff jaw muscles, both in singing and while speaking: we worked a lot on this aspect and made visible progress in correcting it. After singling out the areas of one's voice that can be developed, or the problems that should be corrected, she methodically addresses each of them in the course of the year. Different exercises may work better or worse depending on the student, but eventually Perrine would always find something working well for me out of her seemingly unlimited inventory.

When I started lessons with Perrine, I had never sung before in my life (I was terrible); under her patient guidance I made progress fast, so that within one year and a half I was able to join an amateur choir performing in a local opera production. During this time Perrine helped a lot with preparing the pieces with which I was struggling.

When we had to terminate our lessons because she was moving to another country, she contacted other singers who she thought would make suitable teachers for me.

As a final note, I'd like to say that at the end of each lesson I would leave the room feeling more motivated and enthusiastic than the moment I entered it: this is probably what makes the most difference between a good and a bad teacher.
