About Margarett
Music remains a language I have taught for 13 years to bridge the gap between nervous beginners and stage performers. I have guided hundreds of students through technical hurdles like pitch control and vibrato control. Working with such diverse abilities feels incredibly rewarding.
My approach prioritizes foundational mechanics such as breathing control, head and chest voice, and vocal range extension. These concepts support belting technique, rhythm and phrasing, and performance confidence. Helping people refine their warm-up exercises to find their own sound brings me immense satisfaction.

Conceptual understanding must precede physical execution during our time together. I prioritize how the vocal mechanism operates before addressing specific songs.
You will gain a clear sense of how your body produces sound. My 13 years of teaching inform how we isolate issues in rhythm and phrasing.
