About Stephanie

- What kind of experience do you have? I have been tutoring students of all ages for many years, from Beginner to Professional. I am a professional Singer/Songwriter and perform weekly at residencies in London, as well as for special events in London and abroad. I am also a singing Voice-Over for TV and Radio Commercials. As a Singer/Songwriter, I pitch songs for top Pop singers, Film and TV, as well as being a Solo Artist. The YouTube Music video link is an example of one of my single releases as an Artist. - Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate? Yes. - Where and with whom did you train? I was originally trained Classically (Ros Roberts), before finding my voice in the Jazz, Pop and Soul arena. I was trained by two top Vocal Tutors, Sonia Jones and Lloyd Wade, who have, between them, coached pop stars including Rita Ora, Izzy Bizu and Natasha Bedingfield, and been Vocal coach on The X Factor and The Voice. - Do you belong to any professional organisations? Equity, PRS and PPL. - Tell me about some of your current students. Two of my current students are a 14 year who loves to sing, who needs encouragement with regards to confidence-building and using correct support in performance. She is fantastic at being directed and it is wonderful to see improvement from one moment to the next, through her taking on board what is being said and applying it. The other is a 13 year old, with a huge passion for singing and immense love of music, who is interested in becoming professional in the future.

About the lesson

Get the right vocal toolkit - singing with proper support, strength & expression, which builds confidence, widens range, and finds YOUR best voice. - Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach Singing. - Tell me about your qualifications. ABRSM Grade 8 Piano BA (Hons) English & Italian Literature with Creative Writing Musical Diploma in Performance - How much do you charge? £45 for a full hour. Intro lesson (first) is £25. - Where do you teach? I teach from my studio in Putney SW15, London. - When are you available? Monday to Friday daytimes and early evening. Saturday mornings. - Which ages and levels do you teach? All ages and levels, from Beginner to Professional. - Describe your arrangements for online tutoring. I can teach via Zoom.
