About Sarah
I am a singing teacher with over 15 years of teaching experience, working with students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners through to advanced and professional singers.
I hold a BMUS degree specialising in Vocal Performance and completed an MA in Vocal Pedagogy in 2024, deepening my focus on evidence-based, healthy vocal technique.
My teaching is centred on developing strong, efficient vocal technique that allows singers to perform with freedom, confidence, and consistency. I work across a range of styles while maintaining a strong foundation in classical vocal training, helping students build solid breath control, vocal placement, range, and expressive performance skills.
Alongside my teaching career, I was involved in the English National Opera “Opera Works” programme (2014–2015), which provided valuable professional performance development and insight into operatic practice and stagecraft.
I aim to create supportive, structured lessons tailored to each individual’s goals, whether that is building confidence, preparing for exams and auditions, or developing advanced performance technique.

I am a classically trained singing teacher with an MA in Vocal Pedagogy and a BMUS degree, specialising in healthy vocal technique and confident, expressive singing.
My teaching focuses on building a strong technical foundation so singers can use their voice safely, efficiently, and with greater freedom.
Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals and experience level, whether you are a complete beginner, preparing for exams or auditions, or looking to refine advanced technique. I work on breath control, vocal placement, resonance, range development, and performance confidence, always adapting exercises to suit the individual voice.
I aim to create a supportive and practical learning environment where students understand how their voice works and how to develop it sustainably over time.
My background in classical training also allows me to support students interested in classical repertoire, while still applying healthy technique across styles.
