About Caleb
With over 9 years of experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Vocal Studies, I specialize in teaching diverse cultural music traditions. My work focuses on Flamenco, Hindustani Classical, Celtic Folk, and African Spirituals. I guide students through vocal ornamentation and microtonal expression, helping them master traditional scales and intricate rhythms. My teaching embraces oral transmission techniques, connecting learners with the deep heritage behind each style. I believe music is a bridge to culture and language, and I aim to foster global appreciation in every lesson. Students learn not only to sing but to feel the stories and histories behind the songs. This approach nurtures both technical skill and emotional depth. I am passionate about helping students honor their roots while growing as confident vocal artists. My teaching approach focuses on building strong vocal skills through a mix of technique and creativity. I cover harmony singing to help students blend their voices beautifully in groups. Microphone technique is another key part, ensuring you sound your best live or in recordings. We also explore vocal improvisation, encouraging freedom and expression in your singing. Pop and R&B stylisation add style and personality to your performance.
I work closely with both advanced teens and adult beginners, tailoring lessons to fit their goals. Whether you want to master complex harmonies or build confidence with basic skills, I support your progress every step. Lessons include fun exercises and real-world practice to keep you motivated. Together, we develop your unique voice and stage presence. My goal is to help you sing with skill, emotion, and confidence. Every session is a step toward your best sound and strongest performance.
