About Sasha

I have over 5 years of experience as a singing tutor and hold a Bachelor of Music Education with a focus on voice. I’m passionate about vocal storytelling, especially through Jazz Standards, Broadway solos, and Golden Age repertoire. I love helping students bring these classic songs to life with swing phrasing, jazz ornamentation, and deep character interpretation. Reading lead sheets is a key skill I teach, allowing singers to confidently navigate their music and express themselves freely. I work with passionate adults, seasoned singers, and community theater actors who want to refine their craft and perform with confidence. Each lesson is tailored to develop both technical skills and emotional connection. I encourage students to explore the story behind every song and sing with authentic style. Whether you’re preparing for a show or just love singing these timeless pieces, I support your growth every step of the way. My goal is to help you perform with style, emotion, and classic charm. Singing should be joyful and expressive, and I’m here to make sure you shine on stage. Let’s bring your favorite songs to life together!

About the lesson

My teaching approach to singing is centered around storytelling, emotional expression, and developing vocal character. I believe that singing is more than just hitting the right notes—it’s about acting through song and connecting deeply with the audience.

I focus on dramatic timing and stage confidence to help students bring their performances to life. Lessons are tailored to fit each student’s learning speed, performance level, and emotional needs. Whether you’re part of a church ensemble or pursuing music at a higher level, I support you in reaching your full potential.

I encourage students to explore their emotions and use their voice as a powerful storytelling tool. Together, we work on technique while also building presence and authenticity on stage.
