About Yara

I am a singing tutor with over seven years of experience and hold a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Voice Emphasis. My journey as a musician has given me the opportunity to teach students at every level—school learners, college performers, and adult professionals seeking growth. I believe that every voice is unique, and my role is to guide each learner toward discovering their own sound with confidence. I offer personalized lessons across a wide range of styles including classical, pop, movie, and folk singing. My teaching also focuses on ear training, harmony, improvisation, and music theory, all designed to strengthen both technical skill and musical understanding. I place great importance on vocal health, using safe and sustainable techniques that support long-term growth. Each lesson is interactive, engaging, and tailored to the learner’s goals. I encourage creativity while also building strong fundamentals that support consistent improvement. My students gain not only better vocal control but also the confidence to perform in any setting. I believe singing is more than just technique—it is expression, connection, and joy. Together, we work on bringing out emotion and authenticity in every performance. About the lesson

My singing methodology is crafted to guide different learners while focusing on musicality, pitch control, and emotional expression. For the advanced teen, lessons emphasize vocal flexibility and confidence, helping them master challenging notes and shift smoothly between registers. I encourage them to explore different genres, from pop to classical, so they learn to adapt their voice with both power and control.

For the quartet player, training centers on blend, harmony, and tonal awareness. They work on balancing their voice with others while keeping strong individual technique. Special exercises in pitch matching and resonance support their role in group performance.

Both personas benefit from targeted drills that connect breath support to emotional delivery, ensuring songs feel authentic and expressive. I incorporate digital tools such as DAWs, vocal apps, and metronomes to track accuracy, timing, and overall growth. These tools make practice more structured and measurable.

Learners also receive guided feedback on stage presence and confidence, preparing them to perform with ease in front of others. Every step is designed to build adaptability, making each singer versatile across genres and settings. The goal is simple—strong technique, expressive delivery, and the confidence to share their voice anywhere.
