About Chloe
My chemistry degree have developed my solid chemical knowledge and expertise, while the PGCE (Science: Chemistry) at UCL Institute of Education has inspired me to teach using different pedagogical approaches to support students’ learning.
My teaching experience across KS3 to KS5 (including GCSE Science and A-Level Chemistry) in the UK, together with my six-year teaching experience as a science and chemistry teacher in an English Medium Instruction secondary school in Hong Kong, allowed me to develop wide ranges of resources in science education.
I am confident to support your learning by developing a deeper understanding on the subject contents aligned with the UK national curriculum and stretching your exam skills.

* If you are not sure where to start, resources and assessment of different topics will help you to identify your weakness. Well-planned schedule on learning topics in a logical sequence can also ensure your good learning progress.
Generally, the lesson starts with some basic questions to check your understanding. We will then go through the key learning points and the common mistakes in the topic, with some exam-styled questions in between for practice. Homework will be assigned at the end of the lesson to ensure the progress and allow me to check your understanding.
Feel free to bring any questions in chemistry to the lesson for further explanation.
