About Mason
My name is Mason and I love inspiring people to find the career path that best suits them through the use of tutoring and education. I have a grade 7 clarinet degree and a grade 5 piano degree; I love promoting creativity. When I tutor students, I not only like to give them the education that they need to pass their respective examinations but also I like to achieve a buddy-like status to give those who are less confident not only a feeling of mutual respect but also give our lessons a more friendly vibe.

When teaching students about my subjects, I go for a methodical approach which entails note taking in the Cornell Method Format to ensure information that had been taught remains in the Short Term and Long term memory of my students. I Prefer to teach online over Zoom or Google Meets and as a sixth form student myself I understand busy schedules may be a problem so lesson times are flexible. The typical length for my lessons are 30 mins for a standard lesson and 1 hour for an extended lesson.
I am a peer mentor within my school with Mental Health First Aid training which comes in useful when helping students deal with exam related stress and anxiety.
I prefer to teach at GCSE level and target an age audience of 14 - 16 however this is not limited and I am able to tutor those younger or older.
