About Lauren
I am currently a sixth form student and so GCSE, Further and Additional Maths are still very fresh in my mind. I got a 9 in Maths / 8 in Further Maths. I am teaching on easyA maths platform and I tutor students at my school and my brother at home. As I am tutoring on a maths platform, I am qualified to tutor GCSE Maths and below and I have also done relevant safeguarding training.

I have a patient approach to teaching. I would take the first lesson getting to know the student and understanding how they like to learn and what topics they want help with. The first lesson of proper tutoring I go through all the theory of the topic and then I will go through some questions with the student. I will set a few questions for them to do before our next session to see how much they understand and then if they have any questions about the work and we can go through them together. I will not move on from a topic until the student feels confident that they will be able to answer exam questions.
