About Nell
I am a hard working sixth form student who just finished her gcses with strong impressive grades. My maths result came to an 8. Due to my age I have a great understanding of their syllabus and I understand the methods used in school to teach children. I also understand every child is different and learns at a different rate. In this case I have a wide variety of methods and I am very friendly and patient with their learning

In the first lesson I try to figure out where the child stands with their learning. I will ask them what they have learnt in class and I will do a couple examples from each topic. I will also do a school test just to be sure. I want the child to be as independent as possible so for that reason I will show them the method and do a couple worked examples with them. After I will allow them to do some exercises on their own. If the child gets something wrong I will explain it to them so their understanding deepens. Every couple lessons I will do a recap :)
