I am a student at Torquay grammar school currently taking biology, chemistry and maths at a higher level and german, english and geography at a standard level. I have been doing maths tutoring for younger students at secondary school for a couple of years now.

My tutoring method is to ask students what the main areas they need to work on are in order of priority and to then work through each of these topics by giving the student a much better understanding of the content and to them go through multiple practice exam questions with them to help them understand the kind of things they are expected to know and show them how to apply methods. I always take my lead from the student to ensure that they are getting the most out of each session and I encourage feedback.
