About Josh
I have been skateboarding for just about 15 years now and have been working at our local indoor Skatepark (RAD Skatepark,LLC) for about 5 years now. I also used to ride for our local Skateshop (Mean Gene's Skateshop), where a few friends and I taught lessons and attended fundraisers/ contests. In addition, we were constantly filming and holding social media events which created a really great atmosphere for beginner and intermediate Skateboarders! In my free-time, I have been teaching private lessons through RAD Skatepark with students of all ages for 5 years now, and would like to extend my lessons to the community!

In my experience as an instructor, I have taught students with a wide range of ability and age. I have had students just beginning at 6 years old, all the way to intermediate adults. No matter the skill level, I try to approach every lesson with the same relaxed yet productive intention. I do not believe in a strict/structured environment in skateboard lessons, I find it is more rewarding and productive to find strengths and preferences to make every lesson completely organic to each individual.
