About Christine

I have 7 years of teaching experience and hold a Bachelor of Mathematics Education. During my teaching career, I have supported students with different learning styles and academic backgrounds, helping them transform uncertainty into confidence through organized instruction and patient guidance. I enjoy simplifying challenging algebraic topics into manageable learning experiences.

One student struggled with solving quadratic equations because selecting the appropriate solving method often caused confusion. Together, we practiced identifying patterns, comparing multiple solution techniques, and reviewing completed problems to understand common mistakes. As confidence improved, the student solved increasingly difficult questions independently and achieved excellent results in final examinations.

About the lesson

I believe students achieve the best results when they understand mathematical ideas before applying formulas. Every course begins with an evaluation of the student's current abilities, confidence level, and academic goals. Based on this assessment, I design a personalized learning plan that builds strong foundational knowledge before progressing to more advanced algebraic concepts. This structured progression helps students develop confidence while maintaining steady academic growth.

Lessons include variables, algebraic expressions, equations, inequalities, functions, graph interpretation, exponents, radicals, factoring, polynomials, rational expressions, quadratic equations, and systems of linear equations. I encourage students to recognize mathematical patterns, compare different solution methods, and explain their reasoning throughout every lesson. This process strengthens logical thinking and allows learners to solve unfamiliar problems independently.

To make algebra meaningful, I connect lessons with practical examples from finance, engineering, computer programming, business management, and scientific research. Regular review activities, topic-based quizzes, and guided practice sessions reinforce previously learned concepts while introducing new material. Every assignment includes personalized feedback so students clearly understand their progress and know which areas require additional attention.

Students preparing for classroom assessments, board examinations, scholarship tests, SAT, ACT, or university entrance examinations receive customized revision plans, timed practice exercises, detailed performance evaluations, and examination strategies designed to improve both accuracy and confidence under test conditions.
