About Thubelihle

Hello, future students! My name is Thubelihle Maduma, and I am an expert English Teacher and Public Speaking coach with a passion for helping others unlock their full potential in communication.

With 6 years of specialized teaching experience in English and nearly a decade of public speaking under my belt, I am excited to guide you on your journey toward mastering these essential skills. What makes my approach unique is that my public speaking journey began in primary school, where I first discovered the power of clear, confident communication.

Since then, I have refined my skills through numerous speaking engagements and professional courses, allowing me to advance in both public speaking and debate. As a language teacher for almost six years, I have had the privilege of coaching school teams in debate and public speaking, witnessing firsthand the trans-formative impact of effective communication.

My background includes a qualification specializing in English and a brief study of psychology, which enhances my ability to understand my students’ needs and learning styles. I firmly believe that with the right mentor, every individual has the potential to learn, grow, and excel in their pursuits.

My goal is to be that mentor for you, providing the tools, guidance, and encouragement you need to thrive in both language and public speaking. Let’s work together to build your confidence, sharpen your skills, and help you succeed!

About the lesson

Each strand is 60 minutes per lesson Core English Skills Focus Areas:

- Grammar & Vocabulary: Weekly lessons covering sentence structure, parts of speech, and vocabulary building.

- Reading Comprehension: Practice with a variety of texts (fiction, nonfiction), followed by discussions and questions.

- Writing Skills: Regular writing tasks (paragraphs, essays, creative writing) to enhance clarity and structure.

- Activities: Interactive grammar games. Reading aloud and summarizing. Written responses and storytelling. In my lessons you will experience:

- Personalized Feedback: Regularly provide specific feedback tailored to each student’s learning style and progress.

- Interactive & Engaging: Lessons incorporate games, practical exercises, and real-life scenarios to keep learning engaging.

- Encouragement of Growth: Foster a growth mindset, using psychology to help students overcome challenges and build confidence in both English and public speaking.
