About Joel

"I am a Nigerian writer, and researcher. I have a keen eye for detail, strong critical thinking skills, and a passion for narrative and systems thinking. My background in creative writing, and law, allows me to approach surveys and research with focus and honesty. I am deeply interested in topics surrounding youth culture, education, mental health, and socio-economics in West Africa.

Outside of work, I write poetry (recently won a UNESCO-sponsored competition), mentor peers, and record gospel music.

About the lesson

I am an award-winning writer and poet (1st Place, UNESCO FCT 2026). I tutor Literature and Creative Writing using my 'Triptych Method'—fusing analysis, emotion, and construction. I don't just teach students to pass WAEC or JAMB; I teach them how to think, how to write powerfully, and how to find their own voice.

Joel is the kind of tutor who doesn't want his students to be just learners, but people who absorb every bit of his teachings and put them into practical use.
