About Ana
I have my BA in Elementary Education and over 6 years of experience under my belt. I have worked in both private and public schools, in a group and individual settings. I have been a teacher, a camp counselor, a respite provider, a private tutor, and a nanny. However, after having worked in a variety of settings with a myriad of students, I found that I prefer working with individuals or small groups. The intimacy of those settings allows me to build meaningful relationships with the students, teach to their specific needs, and facilitate creative and innovative work. I believe that in order to create lifelong learners, students must learn how to create and dictate their own learning. Additionally, I have a passion for health and wellness, yoga, and cooking with whole foods.

The motto I try to set for myself and my students has been to: think critically, act thoughtfully, explore actively. I want to provide students with the resources to pursue their curiosities. I believe in learning through hands-on activities, Socratic questioning, and guiding students to their full potential.
