About Ella
I am a committed flute tutor with 7 years of teaching experience and around 150 students successfully trained. I teach flute to learners of all levels, helping them grow from beginners into confident and skilled musicians.
My teaching approach focuses on building a strong technical foundation while encouraging creativity and expression. I begin with essential skills such as breath control, posture alignment, embouchure formation, and finger coordination. Once students gain stability in these areas, I introduce articulation techniques, scales, rhythm practice, and performance pieces.
I carefully assess each student’s level and create personalised lesson plans that support steady improvement. I also guide students on how to practise effectively at home to maximise progress.
One of my strengths is maintaining patience and positivity even when students face challenges. I create a comfortable learning environment where mistakes are seen as opportunities to improve.
My goal is to develop disciplined, expressive, and confident flute players who truly enjoy their musical journey.

My teaching approach for flute centres on nurturing both passion and discipline. I believe that effective learning happens when students feel encouraged and understood. Therefore, I adapt my methods to suit individual learning styles and pace.
I focus on strengthening breathing techniques, posture, tone clarity, finger agility, and rhythm accuracy. Step-by-step guidance ensures that students build confidence gradually. I also teach music theory basics, sight-reading, and ear training to develop well-rounded musical knowledge.
Flexibility allows me to customise lessons for beginners, intermediate learners, and advanced students. Collaboration is encouraged through regular feedback sessions and goal discussions.
Positivity defines my classroom environment. I encourage consistent practice while maintaining a friendly and supportive atmosphere. My goal is to help students become skilled, confident, and passionate flute players who enjoy continuous musical growth.
