About Lydia

I am an English tutor with 10 years of experience and a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics. I have worked with approximately 150 students from diverse backgrounds for professional, academic, and personal communication development. About the lesson

My English lessons are practical, structured, and immediately useful from the very first session. Every lesson begins with a warm-up conversation to build speaking confidence and identify key areas to develop. Grammar is always taught in context through real-world sentences and authentic dialogues rather than abstract rules. Pronunciation and intonation are integrated throughout lessons using phonemic exercises and natural audio comparison. IELTS and TOEFL candidates receive comprehensive skills development with regular timed practice and detailed feedback on exam technique. Business English students develop professional email writing, report structure, presentation skills, and industry vocabulary. Role-play simulates real conversations encountered in professional and personal life. Authentic listening materials including podcasts, interviews, and news broadcasts build natural comprehension. I provide vocabulary exercises and encourage a personal word journal between lessons. My aim is for every student to communicate in English with genuine confidence, accuracy, and natural ease.
