About Flora

I am a dedicated Flute tutor with over 10 years of teaching experience. I teach students from School level to College and working professionals, supporting them in their musical journey.

My teaching approach is organised, calm, and practical. I focus on building strong basics such as breathing control, posture, finger placement, tone clarity, and rhythm accuracy. I ensure students understand each concept before moving forward.

Along with flute lessons, I teach music theory, sight reading, rhythm training, scale practice, and ear training. These subjects help students read music confidently and improve performance quality. I also support students with exam preparation and stage confidence.

One of my unique skills is guiding students with clear practice plans and continuous encouragement. My goal is to help students grow steadily while enjoying the process of learning flute.

About the lesson

I follow a student-focused teaching methodology for flute that combines communication, creativity, and flexibility. My goal is to help students enjoy learning while building strong musical skills.

Communication is important in my lessons. I explain each concept clearly and check student understanding regularly. I encourage open discussion and provide supportive feedback.

Creativity keeps learning interesting. I use creative exercises, musical patterns, and familiar tunes. I also focus on musical expression, tone development, and rhythm.

Flexibility allows lessons to suit different learning styles. I adapt lesson plans based on student ability, pace, and goals.

Flute training covers breathing control, posture, embouchure, finger technique, articulation, scales, rhythm, and sight reading. I focus on steady improvement.

Along with flute, I teach supporting subjects such as music theory, ear training, rhythm practice, and performance preparation.

My teaching environment is friendly, supportive, and encouraging.
