About Zara
I am a Physics tutor with over 6 years of experience and a Master’s degree in Nanophysics, dedicated to helping students develop both conceptual clarity and practical skills. My teaching integrates theoretical physics with computational techniques to reflect how the field operates today. I encourage students to approach problems with both analytical reasoning and computational thinking. This creates a more immersive and relevant learning experience.
I focus on numerical methods as essential tools for solving real-world physics problems. Students learn how to implement these methods through coding, rather than memorising formulae. Python is central to my teaching, and I guide learners in using it for simulations and data analysis. Each lesson builds towards independence and confidence.
Through project-based work, students model systems, analyse data, and visualise results. I also emphasise clear data representation to deepen understanding. I have worked with university students and researchers aiming to strengthen their computational skills. My goal is to help you become a confident, well-rounded physicist with strong computational abilities.

My teaching approach focuses on making physics simple, practical, and relevant to real-world engineering. I keep sessions relaxed so students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas. Instead of only teaching formulae, I explain how physics is used in engineering fields like structures, fluid flow, and materials.
I connect concepts such as statics and dynamics to real systems like bridges, machines, and moving bodies. Fluid dynamics is taught using examples like pipe flow and air movement. In materials science, I explain how materials respond to forces and temperature changes.
I also include computational tools like Python to solve and model problems. This helps students handle complex systems more easily. I support learners in building strong problem-solving skills and applying physics in practical design. The aim is to make physics a useful tool for your engineering career.
