About Leah
With over 8 years of Spanish tutoring experience and more than 150 students taught, I’ve learned that creating a personalized path is the key to lasting success. Most of my students are in high school or college, each facing their own challenges—from trying to understand difficult grammar to preparing for presentations or written exams. I start every session by asking questions, listening, and figuring out how we can make Spanish work for you. My lessons include a mix of structured grammar work, vocabulary expansion, speaking drills, and real-life language use—like describing your day, planning a trip, or debating your favorite movie. I also bring in cultural elements from Spain, Latin America, and the Caribbean to show how diverse and alive the Spanish-speaking world really is. I’ve seen students go from complete beginners to confident conversationalists—and from exam stress to top-of-the-class grades. One student who had never passed a Spanish test finished the semester with an A after three months of tutoring. That’s the kind of progress that happens when students feel supported, understood, and engaged.
