About Faye

Teaching Spanish has been a rewarding experience throughout my 14+ years as a tutor. During this time, I have successfully guided around 150 High School and College students towards stronger language skills and greater confidence. I believe every learner has unique abilities, and my role is to help them discover and develop those strengths.

My teaching philosophy is based on patience, flexibility, and active learning. Every lesson develops grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, listening, reading, and writing through engaging activities that encourage participation. I use practical examples, conversations, storytelling, and language exercises to make learning both effective and enjoyable.

Regular practice, revision, and feedback are important parts of my teaching approach. Students receive continuous support that helps them improve steadily while gaining confidence in their abilities. I also introduce Spanish customs and traditions to provide a deeper understanding of the language.

One of my proudest achievements has been helping students achieve better grades while becoming more confident speakers. Their progress reminds me that encouragement and consistency can make a lasting difference in education.

My mission is to inspire students to enjoy learning Spanish while building practical communication skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.

About the lesson

My Spanish teaching philosophy emphasises lessons that are practical, interactive, and student-centred. Accountability encourages learners to set clear goals, monitor progress, and actively participate in learning. Integrity ensures lessons are honest, fair, and tailored to each student’s abilities and needs.

I embrace Flexibility, modifying lesson plans, exercises, and teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles, proficiency levels, and personal goals.

Communication is central; I foster discussion, conversation, and interactive exercises to help students develop fluency, comprehension, and confidence. A Positive learning environment motivates learners, celebrates milestones, and nurtures curiosity.

I also integrate related subjects such as grammar, literature, vocabulary, and cultural studies to enrich learning and provide practical application. My goal is to help students become confident, fluent, and motivated Spanish speakers.
