About Shelia
I've been teaching swimming for 17 years, and I'm dedicated to making every student a stronger, safer, and more confident swimmer. I provide a welcoming learning environment where students can grow at their own pace by being patient and supportive. I customize each class to fit each swimmer's unique needs since I recognize that they all have distinct skills and objectives. Whether you are starting to swim for the first time, honing your technique, or getting ready to accomplish a particular objective, I offer expert advice, lucid instruction, and useful feedback at every lesson.

My method of instruction is compassionate, encouraging, and centered on assisting each swimmer in gaining self-assurance while improving their swimming abilities. I use guided practice, constructive feedback, and clear demonstrations to tailor each lesson to the student's age, skill level, and objectives. A typical class starts with a warm-up session, then moves on to technique work, stroke development, breathing and coordination exercises, practice, and a progress review. I've been an instructor for 17 years, and I know how to keep safety and appropriate technique a priority while making lessons interesting. Children, adults, and swimmers of all skill levels can benefit from lessons.
