As a gap-year student who recently attended a top local grammar school with grades 7, 8, and 9 at GCSE, I have a fresh, firsthand understanding of what it takes to succeed under the current exam system. Having navigated the high-pressure grammar school environment and the recent 9–1 spec, I know that getting top marks isn't just about working hard—it’s about using the right revision strategies, understanding mark schemes, and mastering exam technique. Taking a gap year allows me to dedicate my full focus and energy to supporting my students, offering flexible scheduling, and providing approachable, relatable mentorship to help them unlock their full academic potential.

About the lesson

I deliver tailored 1-to-1 and small group online sessions that directly convert subject knowledge into top GCSE grades. Every student begins with a comprehensive diagnostic assessment to identify specific topic gaps and map out a targeted plan for improvement. Lessons focus on breaking down complex Maths, Science, and English Literature concepts alongside crucial mark-scheme secrets and essay-structuring techniques tailored to AQA and Edexcel.
