About BENJI
I am a very kind, patient, and understanding person. My name is Benji, and I am 13 years old, I am in the 8th grade and live in NY state. In school I excel in math and English, and overall getting a 98 percent in both classes. and since I have been going to school in the same generation as you, I understand how these concepts are taught, and I know of some good and help full stratagies to help you succeed. When we meet via zoom, my main goal for that session is to make you feel happy and less stress out about what you were having issues with prior. Math should be really fun and not stressful.

I HAVE a direct approach of teaching the concept on hand, and because grew up being taught the common core standards and the way that type of math is presented, I understand it well and can teach both the student, and also the parent. typically when I get on a call for a session I will ask how there day is/ weekend if applicable, and just see how they are doing. I will then ask what is that they want to work on for that session, and what they would like to accomplish. After we go over some of the areas they are having trouble in, we will do some practice problems to see if they have developed the skill on hand better. I can also have a session if your homework is difficult that night, I would be more than happy to help. Because really math should be fun, and not stressful. you can also meet with me if you have questions about a recent exam, test, quiz you had and have questions. I can also assist in studying for upcoming tests/exams.
