About Nicholas

I am an active soccer player (footballer) and coach who has coached boys and girls at all levels from as young as 4 years old, to as old as 20. I have played since I could walk, and have experience in various countries, including the United States, Portugal, Sweden, The Netherlands, and Australia. I've coached both full teams and individual players in the United States, Europe, and Australia, with the largest amount of my coaching career dedicated to building my hometown club of Venice Beach FC (VBFC). While with VBFC, I have had an integral role in our growth and development in a coaching capacity, as a participant, and in various other ways. Some of our most notable collaborations have included globally recognized clubs, teams, and players (Kylian Mbappe, PSG, Nike, LAFC, Chicharito, Adidas, etc.).

About the lesson

I am a firm believer in basing all my training around fundamental skills. I emphasize building total comfort with the ball at your feet, regardless of the position you play on the field. In my individual sessions, I'm very diligent in my preparation, and use my past experience as a player and as a coach to help boys and girls become the best versions of themselves as players and people. I push my players past where they believe their limits are, and take immense pride in watching young people develop and grow. Typically, I do 1 hour sessions, and am open to training anybody at any level or age.
