About Jyothi
Hello! I'm Jyothi Subedi, the founder of Parenting Labs, an organization dedicated to helping children and families develop emotional well-being through Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and mindfulness. For the past five years, I have been teaching children aged 4–13, helping them build emotional awareness, self-regulation, empathy, resilience, problem-solving, and communication skills through engaging, play-based lessons.
I am a Certified Practitioner in Mindfulness, Mindful Parenting, Positive Parenting, Mindful Emotion Coaching, and Positive Parenting Coaching. My teaching combines evidence-based SEL practices with interactive stories, games, role-playing, and hands-on activities, creating a safe and enjoyable learning environment where every child feels seen, heard, and supported.
As both an educator and a parent, I believe that emotional intelligence is one of the most valuable life skills a child can develop. My goal is to help children gain the confidence and tools they need to understand themselves, build healthy relationships, and thrive both in school and in life.

My lessons are interactive, engaging, and designed to help children develop both emotional intelligence and life skills. I teach Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and mindfulness to children aged 4–13 through lessons plan, stories, games, role-playing, discussions, and hands-on activities. Students learn to recognize and manage their emotions, solve problems, build empathy, communicate effectively, develop resilience, and make thoughtful choices. Every lesson is age-appropriate, fun, and creates a safe environment where children feel confident to express themselves, ask questions, and grow emotionally as well as socially.
