About Reiss
My name is Reiss and I have recently graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University, with a Bachelor Honours degree in Social Science Research (History with Politics). I plan to complete a PGDE in Secondary Education. I have knowledge in history of World War I & II, looking specifically at African experiences during the war, however, I have a wider knowledge of all parts of the war. I am also familiar with many parts of British and American History such as 20th century popular culture, the Atlantic Slave Trade, and I also have experience of the Irish Famine and 19th Century life in Ireland. I have experience of British and American Politics, including the inner workings of each political system, furthermore I have knowledge on Scottish and European Union Politics as well as other wider social issues.

My lessons are 1-1 and each lesson is tailored to students' individual needs. It is important to identify students' strengths and areas for improvement and ensure lessons are beneficial to students. My tutoring and methods will help students become more confident and successful in History and Modern Studies as well as, hopefully, learning to enjoy these subjects more.
