About Sian
I have an MA Sociology with Criminology and a BA (Hons) Sociology and Criminology and Criminal Justice, both upper second class division from Bangor University. Currently, I work in further education as a Learner Experience Assistant whilst also studying for my PGCE. My previous tutoring experience comes from leading Presentation Skills classes whilst at university; I delivered these to first year students for three years. Recently, I have started my own tutoring business, "Social Sciences with Sian".

I offer my tutoring services to anybody, up to degree level. At the moment classes would be held via Zoom due to following COVID guidelines but face-to-face meetings could be arranged in a safe manner. However, this is constantly reviewed to be in line with government guidance but to also provide the best possible tutoring experience. Lessons would be planned and delivered based on the level and topic. I also offer the opportunity for students to send their work over for constructive feedback and suggestions.

Please note that rates may vary depending on the level of student. For anyone outside of the 10 mile radius wanitng face-to-face tutoring, a small fee may be required for travel expenses. Please give 24 hours notice of cancellation where possible.
