About Tanveen

Hi! I’m Tanveen, a college student pursuing Journalism and Mass Communication, with a deep passion for teaching Social Sciences — especially Geography, History, and Sociology. Having worked on academic projects and as part of student-led initiatives, I’ve developed a strong command over these subjects and an even stronger desire to make them fun, understandable, and engaging for younger learners. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching methods to suit individual needs, whether it’s through storytelling, visual tools, real-world examples, or interactive discussions. I'm punctual, patient, and genuinely committed to helping students not just score better, but enjoy learning. I believe in creating a safe, encouraging space where questions are always welcome and confidence is built with every class. About the lesson

As a tutor, my teaching style blends clarity, creativity, and connection. I focus on making subjects like Geography, History, Sociology, and Social Science more relatable and less intimidating for students. My classes are designed especially for school students from Class 4 to 8, including both CBSE and ICSE boards.
Each session begins with a quick recap of previous topics, followed by a concept breakdown using visuals, real-life examples, and storytelling. I encourage interaction, questions, and small discussions so that learning becomes a conversation, not a lecture.
For subjects like History and Sociology, I use timelines, cause-effect charts, and current parallels to help students understand, not just memorise. For Geography, I incorporate maps, diagrams, and case studies to bring concepts to life.

What makes my classes unique is that I customise my teaching based on each student’s pace and preferences. I also share handwritten notes, quick revision sheets, and conduct regular doubt-clearing sessions. My goal is to build confidence in students so they feel genuinely curious and capable in these subjects.

I’m patient, approachable, and always open to feedback because I believe good teaching is rooted in continuous learning.
