About Elmar
I am a software developer, working remotely for the US. I also placed in the top 10% of my Math course at UCT. I have been programming for many years and it is my biggest passion. I also enjoy teaching and have been doing so for 6+ years now!

I like to approach teaching programming the way I was taught, and that is starting off with basic algorithms and teaching/practicing the 'coding way of thinking'. I will then begin teaching basic coding techniques until it is time to progress further.

Perfect! Elmar was very willing to help, even though I had very little time to do a super difficult computer science project. He gave it his all and was willing to stay up very late to help me out.
Perfect! Elmar gave much thought and time into helping me with my Python task. He explained very clearly and patiently, pointing out my problem areas and running through the correct solutions and best practices. Excellent!
