About Tushar
I am a Master's student in Applied Artificial Intelligence at the University of Ottawa and currently work as an AI Software Developer, where I build real-world AI and software solutions. Alongside my industry experience, I have served as a Teaching Assistant for university courses in Digital Systems and Software Project Management, mentoring students, leading tutorials, and providing individualized academic support.
I am patient, approachable, and committed to creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. My goal is not only to help students achieve better grades but also to develop their problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and confidence in programming and computer science. I believe the best way to learn programming is by building real projects and understanding the reasoning behind every concept, rather than simply memorizing code. I teach Python, Java, JavaScript, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Structures, Algorithms, Object-Oriented Programming, Software Engineering, and related computer science topics. Each lesson typically includes a clear explanation of concepts, guided coding practice, hands-on exercises, and practical projects to reinforce learning. I also provide personalized feedback and problem-solving strategies to help students become confident, independent programmers.
As a Master's student in Applied Artificial Intelligence at the University of Ottawa, an AI Software Developer, and a former University Teaching Assistant, I combine academic knowledge with real-world industry experience.
