About Max
I became a self-taught programmer in my teens, learning from books and online tutorials. I then completed a BSc and MSc in Computer Science, followed by more than a decade in industry where I *really* learned what programming is about. I'm currently studying for a PhD in Music and AI. I've worked for tiny startups and massive corporations, from healthcare, to finance, to the arts. I've worked with most major languages including C++, Java, Objective C, Python, Scala, Perl, Haskell and Julia. I've also taught and assisted in programming courses at City University, Goldsmiths, Queen Mary's University and Sussex University.
