About Timothy
I’m a MES Systems Specialist with a blended background in manufacturing IT, production systems, and software-driven automation. Since 2021, I’ve worked across automotive, dynamics-based, and financial service environments, supporting both engineering and frontline operations. My role bridges MES, SCADA, PLC integrations, database systems, and enterprise infrastructure to keep production stable, efficient, and data-driven. I specialize in integrating MES workflows with plant-floor technology, improving data collection accuracy, and strengthening visibility for KPIs, OEE, and quality metrics. I manage MES roles, administer AD access, support virtualization environments, and work directly with MySQL, SQL Server, SSRS, dashboards, and API-driven automations. I also maintain integrations between MES and SAP, ensuring reliable flow of production, traceability, and performance data. Across multiple programs, I’ve reduced critical operational failures by 93%, saving over 5 hours of IT/Engineering involvement daily and eliminating more than 120 hours of downtime per shift. I’ve also designed automated MES alerting functions that reduced monthly quality inspection findings by 64%, integrated new data-collection processes for tracking/refurbishment features, and resolved development defects within hours of global hotfix releases. I support 150+ users, conduct root-cause analysis, lead incident response, and troubleshoot Andon systems, HMIs, scanners, and terminals. I’ve contributed to new line launches, plant startup operations, PLC integrations, and the creation of work instructions and system procedures that support consistent, high-quality production execution. My background includes FDA/ISO compliance work, audit participation, and enforcing role-based authentication and access policies within plant systems. I’m currently expanding my full-stack development abilities, deepening my understanding of data architecture, and pursuing my CAPM certification alongside higher-education work in software development. As I grow, I’m moving toward full-stack engineering roles while remaining open to MES engineering positions that combine development, automation, and manufacturing system design. I’m open to remote, hybrid, or on-site opportunities where I can build scalable systems, streamline workflows, and deliver measurable operational value.

Typically students are much smarter than they originally thought; they just need the right person to find the way they learn best! I like to use various teaching styles (reverse prompting, start to finish non-verbal, significance memory storage, practical scenario implementation, etc.) to bring out the best in everyone and build the confidence to keep going even when I am not present. A typical lesson will last 30-60 minutes depending on the student but you are more than welcome to book more time if you feel the need. The plan goes a little like this: Assess prior knowledge current material confidence inaccurate preconceptions Fundamental understanding of what the material means and its practical use. Example problems/projects (guided) Example problems/projects (non-verbally queued) Example problems/projects (unguided) These lessons are meant for High School/Undergrad student level. My pre-made classes are: Web Development 101 (HTML, CSS, JS) Dynamic web Fundamentals HTML, CSS, JS, JSON) Programming with Functions (Python)

Seriously can't say enough good things about Timothy. He was so supportive and encouraging for my son. After just 2 sessions my son went from failing every test in geometry to his first A! He is amazing.
Fluent in Spanish and a great, patient tutor!
