About John
I'm patient and committed to my students' success. I have been teaching in some form or another since I was 8 years old. This includes professional experience teaching martial arts, English as a second language, and volunteer experience teaching coding. I've been coding for about 10 years and can explain many complex concepts in simple terms.

Who my lessons are for
I teach all ages/levels general coding concepts and specific content for JavaScript and web development (both front and back end).
Methodoloy
When possible we like to get a simple example of a concept working, then explain the theory and answer questions, then attempt a more difficult application of the concept and answer any new questions that arise. This keeps things practical while gaining deep understanding of concepts as well.
