About Greg
I'm a Software Engineer of 4+ years, working professionally in niche areas within tech (blockchain, web3, gaming, open source), so I have had the opportunity to touch a lot of different software and tools, as well as being exposed to various software conventions. It also means I have a very approachable attitude towards things I don't know and can pick things up quite quickly.
Here's some of the things I'm working on or dipping my toes into currently:
- (Re)building an opinionated React component library
- Contributing to a Fivem (GTA V roleplay) gameplay framework written in Typescript
- Building intentionally with AI agents
- Learning Go programming language
- Learning to be generally more proficient across the stack (Servers, Databases, Containers etc.)

I like to start by gaining an understanding of your goals/motivations during our first call (free!). From there I will curate a learning plan specific to what you want to achieve.
It could be that we go through general web development fundamentals, deep dives in specific areas, do fun projects together, general career advice, or anything else that could help to push you towards your learning goals.
My strongest points of teaching are:
- Going deeper with HTML, CSS or JavaScript fundamentals
- Becoming proficient in frontend libraries & frameworks (React, Vue, Next.js, Nuxt)
- Upskilling from frontend to fullstack (command-line, servers, DNS, Git, CI/CD, Realtime & Databases)
- Getting the most out of AI-assisted development
- Career switching, or landing your first role
