About Angelo
Hello! I'm a passionate educator and tutor who loves helping students understand subjects that may initially seem difficult or overwhelming.
I have a strong background in Mathematics and Education, with several years of teaching experience. Throughout my career, I have worked with students of different ages, abilities, and learning styles. I understand that every student learns differently, and sometimes all it takes is a different explanation, a little patience, and the right guidance for something to click finally.
Alongside my background in education, I have also developed a passion for Programming and Technology. This allows me to combine my experience as an educator with my interest in software development and computer science. Whether we're solving a difficult math problem or writing your first lines of code, I focus on helping you understand the process instead of simply giving you the answer.
My lessons are relaxed, supportive, and interactive. You don't have to be afraid of making mistakes or asking questions—mistakes are often where the best learning happens. We will work at your pace, strengthen the areas you find challenging, and gradually build your confidence.
I work with students from elementary school to college level, supporting learners in Mathematics and Programming. I offer personalized Mathematics and Programming lessons for students from elementary school to college/university level. My goal is to make challenging subjects easier to understand by breaking complex concepts into clear, manageable steps and adapting each lesson to the student's current level, learning style, and goals.
My Teaching Methodology and Techniques
I believe that students learn best when they understand the “why,” not just memorize the answer. My teaching approach focuses on:
Breaking complex topics into simple, step-by-step explanations
Using practical examples and real-world applications
Encouraging students to ask questions and think independently
Identifying knowledge gaps and strengthening fundamentals
Using guided practice before allowing students to solve problems independently
Adjusting the pace and teaching style based on each student's needs
Building confidence, especially for students who feel intimidated by Mathematics or Programming

What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor
My background combines education, mathematics, technology, and real-world teaching experience. Having worked as an educator and transitioned into software development, I understand both the challenges of learning and the importance of adapting explanations to different learners.
I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Some students learn best through visual examples, others through repetition, practical applications, or hands-on problem-solving. I adapt my teaching to help each student learn in a way that makes sense to them.
