I am a third year Software Engineering student. I Work as a fullStack developer for IEG-America.
I also work as a WebMaster for McGill Engineering Society.
I used to teach calcululs/algebra/ secondary 4-5 math in addition to mechanics and general chemistry at Dawson College

At the beginning I take 5-10 mins to tell the student what we will cover in this session and explain the general ideas quickly and let them know why they need to learn this idea (what are the applications for it).
Then we go over the smaller ideas.
I prefer to solve new problems first to explain the new ideas.
I usually leave 1-2 hours of work homework.
