About Fritz
"Adult learners and career switchers often find that the biggest hurdle to writing a hit is simply finishing the song. The smell of fresh coffee and the hum of a guitar amp at 2 am defines my creative process. Over 10 years of producing and teaching has shown me that perfect is the enemy of done.
My Advanced Diploma of Music from Box Hill Institute provides the technical framework for the messy business of songwriting. I work with students who want to master pop, country, folk, or R&B conventions while keeping their voice unique.
Rhyme schemes, meter, and vivid imagery are the tools we sharpen together. Writing to a brief is a standard part of my workflow for working musicians.
I help you connect hooks to choruses so the song structure feels inevitable. You will find that my approach centers on making, listening, and then refining the draft. Collaboration is at the heart of how I teach music. There is always a seat open here if you want to write."
