"Growing up with a piano as my only confidant turned into 7 years of writing songs that actually connect with people. My Diploma of Music Industry from TAFE provides the technical framework for the messy process of building motifs and themes.
Bringing your voice to the front of a track remains the hardest hurdle for new artists. I focus on chord progressions that serve the narrative rather than just filling space.
My experience includes guiding various songwriters through the complex genre conventions found in R&B and folk styles. Sometimes the best songs happen in 5 minutes. We keep the atmosphere collaborative to ensure you feel comfortable taking risks with your lyrics. You will walk away feeling more confident in your ability to structure a song. Making music should feel like a genuine conversation between you and your listener."
