About Kelsie
Do you ever find yourself staring at a blank page for hours? I have spent 5 years writing and teaching, and I still love the moment an idea becomes a finished song.
My degree from Belmont University gave me a strong foundation in theory. I work with beginners and career switchers who want to build a real songwriting habit. We focus on melodic phrasing and the art of storytelling in songs.
I enjoy exploring point of view and perspective in your lyrics. Prosody is the secret to matching words to melody effectively.
Co-writing is another skill I love to bring into our sessions. I keep things craft-first and kind. Feel free to reach out if you want to start writing.
