About Jason
I am about to graduate from Western University with a degree in Electrical Engineering, and a focus on Wireless Communication. Electrical Engineering is an extremely mathematical field, giving me an excellent background in calculus, statistics, and all of the other mathematical topics that are studied in high school. I have been unofficially tutoring for many years, helping my classmates and friends of different ages, or at different stages in their academic journey. Of all the domains of engineering, electrical is surely the most math-involved of them all. I am very confident in my grasp of the fundamentals of many fields of math, as well as my ability to communicate effectively.

I can teach anywhere from public school to University level, and my delivery and methods will vary depending on the student. A key strategy is to go through carefully chosen example problems, specifically to induce common questions, or areas of confusion. I will slowly (or quickly) solve these problems, explaining each step along the way. Wherever you need help, we can zoom in as we go, or wait until after the solution has been revealed. This will lead to a strong ability to solve test problems, and a strong theoretical and intuitive understanding of the topic. I'm very good at answering random questions, and coming up with new, relevant examples that will help your understanding. Think of Khan Academy, but I can listen better.
