About Layo
Hi! I'm a soon-to-be medical student with a passion for science, maths and helping others achieve their potential. Having recently completed my own GCSEs and A-levels, I understand both the challenges students face and the techniques that can make learning more effective and less stressful.
I am incredibly grateful to the teachers and mentors who took the time to explain difficult topics to me throughout my studies, and I hope to support my students in the same way. I enjoy helping others build confidence and realise they are capable of achieving more than they think. My aim is to create a friendly, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing their skills at their own pace.
Outside of my studies, I have experience working with young people through volunteering, which has strengthened my communication skills and taught me the importance of being patient, supportive and adaptable. Whether you're aiming to improve your understanding, boost your grades or prepare for exams, I'm committed to helping you reach your goals.

My lessons are designed to be engaging, supportive and tailored to each student's individual needs. Whether you're looking to improve your confidence, strengthen your understanding of difficult topics or prepare for exams, I'll adapt each lesson to help you achieve your goals.
Lessons are 60 minutes long and include a mixture of clear explanations, worked examples, exam-style practice questions, and interactive quizzes and games to make learning enjoyable and help reinforce key concepts. I believe students learn best when lessons are both challenging and engaging.
As a soon-to-be medical student with Grade 9s in GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Maths, I understand the demands of GCSEs and A-levels and can share effective revision and exam techniques that helped me succeed.
My lessons are suitable for GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Maths students, as well as A-Level Biology and Chemistry students. Whether you're aiming to pass your exams or achieve the highest grades, I'll provide patient, encouraging support every step of the way!
