About Sophia
I’m fluent in both English and Portuguese and have experience tutoring students in math, English, and language learning. I’ve also worked with younger kids through babysitting and school programs, especially helping Brazilian students adjust to life and learning in the U.S. I’m currently taking advanced courses and I’ve maintained a good GPA while being involved in dual enrollment, yearbook, and the ESL Ambassadors program. I’m really patient and calm, and I always try to make learning feel simple and encouraging, not overwhelming. Whether you're looking for help with school subjects, learning English or Portuguese, or just building confidence, I’m here to support you. My sessions are flexible, clear, and always personalized to what works best for you.

like to keep my lessons simple and relaxed. We go step by step, review what’s needed, and practice together so it actually makes sense. I’ve worked with younger students before and really enjoy helping them feel more confident. My sessions are great for kids in elementary or middle school, and I can teach in English or Portuguese depending on what’s best for the student.
