About Sophia
Hi, future students! I want you to know that when we have lessons together, you don’t have to be nervous or scared to make mistakes. Mistakes are part of learning!
I’ll always do my best to make our lessons fun, easy to understand, and comfortable for you. You can ask me as many questions as you want—even if you think they’re “silly.” There are no silly questions when you’re learning!
I have experience teaching children through our monthly outreach programs, where we help kids learn how to read and write. Because of this, I’ve learned that every child learns in their own special way. Some learn quickly, while others need a little more time—and that’s completely okay!
I’ll be patient with you, encourage you when things get difficult, and celebrate your little victories along the way.
You can think of me as a tutor, a study buddy, and someone who will always cheer you on. My goal is not just to help you get better grades, but to help you feel more confident in yourself and enjoy learning along the way.

My teaching style is fun, patient, and personalized. I don’t believe that every student should learn the same way, so I adjust my lessons to match your pace, interests, and learning style.
A typical lesson starts with a quick review, followed by a simple explanation of the new topic. Then, we’ll practice together through fun activities, questions, and examples. We’ll finish with a short recap so you can see how much you’ve learned!
I want every lesson to feel less like a classroom and more like learning with a friendly study buddy. You’ll never be judged for making mistakes—I’m here to help you understand, improve, and feel confident.
