About Russell
I am a freshman at George Washington University, and I love math! Previously, I worked as a tutor professionally at Mathnasium Santa Monica for a year, and I also do private tutoring 1 on 1 or group sessions with families. Because of my experience and love of math, I have helped improve kids' confidence and grades in the classroom.

As a college freshman, I can connect with my students in a way that creates a fun and engaging learning environment. I strive to build my students' confidence, increase their grades, and improve their overall performance in the classroom. Usually, I will tutor students for one hour and go over recent homework or exams to study for the next test. Over the summer, I will prepare students for the next school year.
I can teach anybody younger than me as long as I am familiar with that level of math (anything at or below Calculus II), and the first lesson is free!

Perfect! Russel has been fantastic with tutoring both of my elementary school aged kids. He is very patient, and is able to help them with all subject areas. Homework is no longer a struggle and both of my kids enjoy working with him.

Russell is a family friend in the neighborhood. I reached out to him so he could help improve my son’s reading comprehension and writing skills. Not only did my son improve his grades in the classroom, but he always was excited to spend time with Russell. Russell was always on time, and he was positive, fun, and my son never complained about tutoring.
