I take great pride in earning good scores but also in reminding students that just because you might take longer to learn, it does not mean you are lesser; you worked harder and smarter than someone who got it quickly. I also believe working hard is crucial to this time. It's extremely hard to teach someone who's not open to learn.

I am a sophomore in high school with a 4.0 GPA looking to help those in need. I would love to teach for understanding not just right answers!! I would work on the foundations of the problems then work my way to understanding the concept. I think I would be a good candidate because I have recently learned these things and have fresh memories of these problems.
