About Katharine
I am from the United States of America and am currently a second-year transfer student studying Humanities and Politics at the Anglo-American University in Prague. I graduated high school one year early and tutored my peers for three years at this school.
My first year of university was completed through a study abroad program. During my time in Spain, I was a Culture and Language Assistant in an English language class at a Spanish elementary school. I tutored 11 to 12-year-old students in person, created lesson plans, graded tests/quizzes, and individually reviewed material with students who were struggling.
In my free time, I enjoy reading novels, reading poetry, journaling, writing fiction, and studying foreign languages.

- I focus equally on speaking skills and reading/writing skills unless my client expresses a desire to learn one over the other.
- Visuals are incorporated into my lessons.
- Each lesson will be personalized entirely to the English student.
- I am a well-spoken, well-written native English speaker who has received high grades in every English language/literature course I have taken in my academic career. My writing has also been published in poetry novels and magazines.
- My lessons are for people of any age and any level. Students, business workers, and others are all welcome!
